The TRC Awards have been run and run won for 2009 and presentations made at the Christmas Party yesterday afternoon.
Thank you to Kim, Angela, and Denis for putting together a very relaxing afternoon in the park.

The first Sunday of each month there will be a MTB ride or a Road Bike ride.
Sunday 7th December 5.45am SHARP (Road Bike) - meet at the Toowong Bus Depot
Sunday 3rd January 05:30am SHARP (Road Bike) - meet on Jindalee Bikeway. Approx 65km easy flat riding. (see calendar for details)

Thursday morning ride - meet Slaughter Falls Carpark, Mt Cootha 5.30am sharp. What we do will be decided on the morning, such as 1k reps / loops of Mt Cootha / riding across the top etc etc. Kim and Angela will be taking these sessions with the guidance of the TRC's club coaches.

TRC Member Jo Rowell headed off overseas to compete in the European Masters XC Marathon in Graz, Austria, Sunday 23rd August. This was a supporting event for the World XC Marathon Championships. See below Jo's email not long after the event. Holding a British passport she was able to enter this event and for the record she finished 7th overall female and 4th in her age category.
