We can not leave a year go by without a visit to our good friends in Nanango. This is a social weekend starting at 6:00pm on Saturday night for the ride out to the forest and the downhill run through the pine trees (great for all skill levels). On Sunday morning we head out on a mystery ride. The reason why its a mystery is that we have never had a bad ride so we never bother to ask where we are going. The Nanango MTB Club have miles and miles of trails available for riding and are fantastic hosts. Dates:- 28th and 29th October If you are interested in coming along please contact Kay Woodall

We will be having our Annual Lake Wivenhoe road ride this Sunday 27th August 2006. We will be meeting at the park opposite the Fernvale bakery. Start time for the ride is 07:00am sharp. We had a great time last year and have brought it forward a month so that it will be a little cooler and a good distance for those doing final preparations for the Epic. The ride is a road ride with a stop at Somerset for a refresher. It will be a group ride up until that point with an average speed of around 27-28kmph. The ride from Somerset back to Fernvale will alow those feeling fresh to stretch the legs for a bit of a hitout. Those not wanting to go too hard can stay together. The total trip is around 115km. See route map here Hope you can come along. Regards Paul Cook Club Coach |
